The trip to Sounion is lovely; you pass some beautiful beaches along the way. When we arrived, we climbed up to the temple, and the views were spectacular. There aren't nearly as many ruins as there are at the Acropolis, but the site itself at sunset is absolutely breathtaking.

A beautiful excursion—in my opinion, an absolute must-do! The Athens coastline is enchanting, and the Temple of Poseidon is spectacular at sunset. The duration was just right to fully enjoy the place. I’m not giving 5 stars solely because of the scheduling: pickup/departure was scheduled for 4:30 p.m., but we actually left at 5:00 p.m. The tour was supposed to last a total of 5 hours, with a return at 9:30 p.m., but because we didn’t leave until 9:00 p.m. and there was so much traffic, we arrived in Athens at 10:45 p.m. after a trip that took almost 2 hours!

Really nice spot to see the sunset even though a little crowd. I was afraid that if I took the 16:30 trip wouldnt see the sunset, but the trip is all organised to wait till sunset is finished (You will save some time if you take the following trips and still see the sunset). Really nice guides (also spanish speakers).

It's a long trip, but it's worth it for the atmosphere of such a beautiful place, the lovely views, the ruins of an ancient civilization, and a gorgeous sunset to top it all off. The guide was very helpful.

There was a mismatch on the meeting time, i spoke with the customer rep and she had my family show up 3 hrs before the actual pick up time. I knew this was not right but had no choice. At 95F temp, me and my family had to wait for 3 hrs.

Head to Doukissis Plakentias, Chalandri 152 34, Athens, Greece, where your guide will meet you right outside the Halandri metro station (Blue Line). Arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure a smooth departure.
