The guided tour was simple and intuitive, thanks in part to the module being activated based on our GPS location. We didn't have to wait in line, except for a quick check at the entrance. The location is simply incredible. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Its indeedly once in a lifetime experience to see such a marvel and it would have been 5 ⭐️. But. Audio guide could not be downloaded from website prior and on the acropolis site there was no wifi. There is also no reason to get a skip the line ticket as there is no line at all. I just had to do 5 mins waiting at my time because it was packed by the 'skip the line' group. So at the end the 14 euro premium on top of the 30 euro walk in ticket was not worth it. Note: the whole itinerary takes 40-50 mins at most and not 2 hrs as advertised.

Booking and getting into the Acropolis were very easy. The audio guide wasn't necessary. There's a free audio guide available at the entrance that you can install very quickly. Unfortunately, I had to pay for the audio guide for the kids here. Kids get in for free, after all. The audio guide at the Acropolis is also free. With HeadOut, I paid twice for the kids. And they didn’t even use it...

We booked a combo ticket. That was 77€ per adult. It included the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the museum. There was one thing we didn’t understand: we paid extra for the Parthenon, even though it was part of the Acropolis tour anyway. Despite all that, it was a very nice trip. There were drink vending machines and restrooms. My recommendation is to visit in the fall if possible; we went in mid-July and it was really hot—there’s very little shade right on the Acropolis grounds.

The Acropolis combo was just fantastic. An absolute must see, all of the tour was fantastic, the Parthenon etc great value. The changing of the guards is Ali a must see and the 0lympiv stadium, all icon sights , just loved our 5 day of bteak. Athens cartainly does not disappoint 👍

Just the vast enormity of the Acropolis. What an amazing place and definitely a wonder to behold . It is so worth a visit. If you have disabilities there is a lift but it is a little bit of a walk from main entrance. It is a great walk up to the top

The Acropolis has limited accessibility for visitors with mobility challenges. While there is an elevator near the South Slope entrance, its operation is managed entirely by the venue and may not always be available. Baby strollers are not permitted inside the Acropolis archaeological site due to the site's uneven terrain and lack of suitable storage facilities.

After booking, you’ll receive an email with instructions for accessing your ticket and audio tour. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.

Download your ticket and audio tour using Wi-Fi before your visit, as the mobile signal on Acropolis Hill can be weak or unreliable.

To get to the Acropolis, take Metro Line 2 and exit at Acropolis station. Walk along Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, and you’ll see the Theatre of Dionysus on your right.

The audio tour works on Android (5.0 or later) and iOS smartphones with 100-150 MB of free space. It is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th gen or older, iPad 4th gen, or iPad Mini 1st gen.

The app and audio guides require around 200-250 MB of space on your device.

Be prepared for potential wait times as you might encounter long lines at the entrance.

The Acropolis Museum offers free admission on March 6 (Melina Mercouri Day), March 25 (National Holiday), May 18 (International Day of Museums), and October 28 (National Holiday).
