Simply fantastic! The Acropolis tour was simply fantastic. We were there in mid-January and the tourist crowds were manageable. Be sure to visit the Acropolis Museum afterwards. Only then is it a complete experience. Booking and service via Headout were reliable and perfect!

Walked all over without a time limit. The crowds were heavy but that's typical for that time of day. I used a free audio guide off soundcloud. The sights were amazing. The app and ticket were easy to use.

Unfortunately the skip the line did not work and we were made to wait in the regular line for the acropolis entry. When we tried to use the hop on hop off bus ticket the driver would initially not accept the ticket. We were made to wait downstairs on the bus so he could see us the whole 20 minutes it took to get to a stop with a agent outside who then eventually was able to issue us paper tickets. This was not a pleasant experience and kind of spoilt it for us unfortunately. Again these are not necessarily headouts faults but there clearly is a issue with the expectations from the local companies you use not fully fulfilling the expectations of us the clients.

The Acropolis has limited accessibility for visitors with mobility challenges. While there is an elevator near the South Slope entrance, its operation is managed entirely by the venue and may not always be available. Contact the site a day before your visit at +30 210 3214172 or +30 210 9238470 to confirm availability.

Baby strollers are not permitted inside the Acropolis archaeological site due to the site's uneven terrain and lack of suitable storage facilities.
