The iconic glass dome crowning the museum was designed by Dalí and has become a symbol of Figueres.

The Mae West Room is constructed so that, when viewed from a special platform, the furniture forms the face of the Hollywood actress.

Dalí personally curated and designed the museum’s layout, ensuring every detail reflected his unique artistic vision.

Our visit to the Dalí Museum exceeded all our expectations! A really great exhibition, and easy to navigate. To be honest, we were 20 minutes late according to our tickets, but they let us in anyway without any problems. It was nice to see that many visitors had young children with them, and the kids were exploring everything with joy and curiosity. There’s something for everyone!

Overall, it went okay—I spent a lot of time in Girona without really enjoying it, and very little time at the Dalí Museum.

From the moment we arrived at the Julia Travel Office, all staff were friendly and welcoming. Miri was outstanding. She was friendly, inclusive and extremely knowledgeable. Julia was also a pleasure to speak with and was friendly throughout. Adrian was a fantastic drive - we felt very safe in his capable hands. Miri was the stand out star of the day though. The visit wouldn't have been as wonderful without her. Her English was excellent and her knowledge of Girona and the Dali Museum helped us to see things we'd never seen on previous visits. This visit was a birthday present to myself on turning 60 and it was the best present I could have had. Thanks Miri, Julia and Adrian! You made my day even more special. X
