The music was beautiful and powerful, and the actors’ voices were amazing. I especially loved the songs because they expressed the characters’ emotions so strongly.

The Lion King is my favorite movie, so seeing the musical was honestly a pretty big deal for me. I had really high expectations going in, and somehow, it managed to exceed all of them. First of all, the Lyceum Theatre itself is beautiful. The atmosphere already makes you feel like you’re about to experience something special before the show even starts. And then the musical begins… I absolutely loved it. Every single actor, from the main characters to the smallest roles, was so talented. Their voices, acting, and stage presence were all amazing. The stage and costume design were probably one of my favorite parts. One thing I was genuinely curious about before seeing it was how a story that revolves around animals could possibly be turned into a live musical performed by actual people. But the costume design were so incredibly well done that I completely forgot about that question within seconds. The moving staircases, the way the sets transformed, and all the little details made everything feel so alive. And somehow, Scar became almost my favorite character in the musical. Which is funny because he’s definitely not my favorite character in the movie! And here’s the crazy part: I took two people with me who had NEVER seen The Lion King movie before. I know, absolutely insane. 😂 They loved it, watching their reactions throughout the show made the experience even more fun for me. There were so many moments when I got chills, and I genuinely got emotional more than once. Even though I already knew the story and every song, seeing it performed live made it feel completely different. It was emotional, beautiful, incredibly well made, and honestly just one of those experiences I’ll remember for a long time.

Das HIS MAJESTY´S THEATER ist ein wunderschönes Theater und damit ein wunderbarer Rahmen für dieses Musical. Das Musical ist hervorragend inszeniert, fantastische Schauspielerinnen und Schauspieler und tolle Stimmen. Das Orchester und der Sound waren ebenfalls großartig. Wir hatten Plätze in der ersten Reihe mit Blick quasi ebenerdig auf die Bühne und auch in den Orchestergraben. Der Vorteil es kann niemand deine Sicht beeinträchtigen, der Nachteil der Fußraum ist hier extrem begrenzt, was auf Dauer etwas unbequem wird. Fotos von der Vorstellung gibt es keine, da das fotografieren sinnvoler Weise nicht erklaubt ist.

Amazing performances, great organisation by the staff. Food was good but I think the menu could have been better (main course could be different)

Es war das Highlight unserer diesjährigen London-Reise und wird unvergeßlich bleiben. Ein tolles Team hat uns betreut und der Ausblick war grandios. Auch das Wetter hat mitgespielt, es war sonnig bei angenehmen Temperaturen und vor allem nicht windig. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Excitement in the air! The history of the theatre 🎭 thinking if all the past performances over the years how it has evolved . The performance was electrified, the sound was clear and charged with a wonderful depth of sound , ecoustically superb . The range of pitch with each individual performer was incredible. The combination of voice and corriography was a sight to behold. Outstanding !

Hamilton ist ein unfassbar gut geschriebenes Stück. Der Londoner Cast ist fantastisch und absolut fehlerlos. Das Theater ist wunderschön und bequem, der Ton abolut professionel und wunderbar ausgewogen. Ich habe eine perfekte Vorstellung gesehen. Und ich nehme dieses Wort niciht leichtfertig in den Mund.
