We had an absolutely amazing experience on our 10-hour tour of the Douro Valley with Pedro Veloso! I booked this experience for my birthday trip to Portugal, traveling with two of my girlfriends, and it honestly exceeded all our expectations. Pedro made the entire day special. The tour included multiple stops, allowing us to explore and enjoy so many beautiful places beyond the Douro Valley itself. Every stop offered something different, and we never felt rushed. One of the things we appreciated most was Pedro’s knowledge and the way he shared it. He provided so much interesting information about the region, its history, and its culture without ever making it feel overwhelming. He had the perfect sense of timing: knowing exactly when to jump in with information and when to step back and let us simply enjoy the scenery, take pictures, and soak in the experience. The small group of eight was also perfect! It made the experience feel personal, comfortable, and fun, while giving us the opportunity to connect with everyone. Pedro truly went above and beyond to make this a wonderful day. If you’re visiting Porto and considering a Douro Valley tour, I cannot recommend this experience enough. 10/10 experience, beautiful memories, and an incredible guide! We had an amazing time on this tour! Our tour guide Luís and our bus driver Augusto were both incredibly friendly, funny and welcoming. They created such a relaxed and easygoing atmosphere, and we felt well taken care of from start to finish. Luís was especially thoughtful and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. At the end of the tour, he even walked through the bus to ask everyone if they needed any recommendations for Porto, whether for restaurants, bars or other things to do. Such a small gesture, but it really showed how much he cared about his guests. He was genuinely one of the kindest and most helpful tour guides we've met! The tour itself offers excellent value for money, with so much included — even lunch and plenty of wine! We also learned a lot about the Douro Valley, its history and the production of Port wine. Everything was well organised but never felt stiff or overly formal. The whole experience was fun, relaxed and completely hassle-free. We had a fantastic day and would absolutely recommend this tour!

Amazing tour! Tour guide was fantastic and the itinerary was perfect. We first visited a small town in the valley for a quick break before a beautiful and delicious lunch and first tour at the co-op! The first stop in the town is important to grab snacks and water for the afternoon, as after lunch there is no chance to do so. It is very appreciated that the tour guide makes this clear at the start of the day so you know what to do! After the co-op, you head to a vineyard and do another tour and tasting, and then the boat cruise! Well worth the cost of the tour.

Alex the driver (and what a good driver he is) and Ricardo our guide made this an unforgettable experience. Taking in the Douro River and valley, its wines, culture, history and a taster of its food was an excellent introduction to this beautiful part of Portugal. Several wine and olive oil tastings including a meal at a cooperativa, made for super value and Ricardo's humour was matched only by his attentiveness, knowledge and the ability to engage us all in learning about the development of this area. This was the first result from my Google search and turned out to be a perfect day trip from Porto with a comfortable bus (driven by driver Joao), enthusiastic guide (Luis) and a efficient itinerary along the river Douro. The lunch and wine tasting at the Cave Santa Maria was pleasant, the scenery from the Quinta de Marrocos was beautiful and the cruise on the Douro river was a peaceful hour/long immersion in the incredible landscape. Luis was very open and considerate to everybody's needs along the whole trip. Well worth the €70 I paid!

An excellent tour. Francisco, the guide, was lively and knowlegeable. We elected to do only two wine tastings, which was perfect. A third one would have been too repetitive. Instead, we went on a Douro river cruise, which was wonderful. Another really good surprise that felt like an upgrade was the nice sit-down lunch in a great renovated wine wharehouse, very elegant. This tour exceeded my expections, hence the 5-star rating.

We spent lovely time, visit 2 vinery We had a wonderful time. We visited two vineyards for wine tasting and had lunch at one of them. Everything ran smoothly, and the group was fantastic. The tour allowed us to appreciate the beauty of the area, and the driver navigated the winding roads skillfully. However, I was disappointed that the olive oil tasting didn't take place, and unfortunately, we didn't visit Amarante as I had hoped. A,! Be careful with the pickup & drop out place, could be different as in the offer.

I enjoyed the tour; everything was exactly as described. We were a bit unlucky with the weather—it was overcast—but at least it didn't rain. For lunch, we could choose our main course (meat or fish). The tasting was interesting, and afterwards, we could buy wine from the *quinta* in the shop.

The explanations given during the tour of the S. Luiz vineyard, as well as the port wine tastings, were my favorite parts. Also, the commentary during the bus ride by our guide, Igor, was interesting and entertaining :)

We had such a great time on this tour. Miguel made it fun but shared so much of his knowledge on Douro Valley and wine. The bus was comfortable and every stop was great. We had time to taste the wine, enjoy the views, and have lunch.
