Visiting this magnificent cathedral was probably the highlight of the year. Seeing the incredible play of colors created when the sun shone through the mosaic-adorned stained-glass windows was a breathtaking sight and made for some fantastic photos. Looking out over the whole of Palma from the upper terrace also gave us an incredible perspective on just how large and imposing this building is.

A very beautiful cathedral—best to visit early in the morning around 10 a.m. since there aren't many people. I recommend visiting with your family; once you're at the cathedral, there are quite a few places you can reach on foot.

It was a really nice ride along the boardwalk, by the sea. The cars do have very stiff suspension, though. But we still had a lot of fun on the ride.

We arrived when it opened at 10 a.m. and started on the terrace—it was perfect. There was almost no one there, so we were able to enjoy it and take photos without anyone else in the way. The cathedral is magnificent!!!! I recommend going right when it opens—not too crowded and not too hot; it was perfect.

The entry process was great—we didn't have to wait at all, and we entered through a different entrance than the one listed when we bought our tickets online. I'd do it the same way again.
