Explore Gaudi’s Influence on the Cathedral’s Architecture
Admire the central nave of the Mallorca Cathedral as you enter the monument. At 44 meters high, it is one of the tallest structures of its kind in all of Europe. Learn about the modifications that Antoni Gaudi made to the cathedral's structure to accommodate evolving pastoral and religious requirements. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity, the bishop's throne, and the choir chancel were all made visible thanks to this liturgical restoration, which also created space for the faithful. Marvel at artworks by Miquel Barcelo that depict the miracle of Jesus multiplying the loaves and fish for his disciples.
Explore the Sacred Art Museum & Royal Mausoleum
Admire the exquisite collection of religious art on display. The stunning works of art, from centuries-old paintings to ornate liturgical objects, provide a peek into the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Mallorca. Visit the resting place of Jaime II's and Jaime III's final resting spot. Look up at towering columns while taking photos next to Guillermo Sagrera's sculptures.
