This place isn’t massive for concerts, but the space works well for a crowd. Lots of security and staff around which made it feel safe, especially since it was a rock event and folks were drinking. Food trucks were everywhere to grab a bite, toilets were clean and stocked with what you need. Honestly, catching a show here is a solid experience and I’d tell friends to try it. We picked up the Attraction Pass, and being able to move between all the pavilions on the same ticket made the day feel a lot more relaxed.

We also grabbed the Individual Pass for Terra, so we skipped the other pavilions this time but still got to enjoy Al Wasl Plaza and the Surreal show.

Security and marshals were literally everywhere, so everything stayed pretty chill even with the rock show and drinks allowed. There were a bunch of food trucks for snacks, the bathrooms were tidy (with bidets and toilet paper), basically everything was on point. If you’re thinking about catching a show here, totally recommend it – great experience overall. We'd picked up the Attraction Pass, so we could duck into the Women's Pavilion for a bit, then wander over to Terra without queuing up to pay again.

Since the Attraction Pass covers all the pavilions, we didn't have to pick and choose ahead of time. The arena isn't as massive as some places but there's still plenty of room. Saw plenty of security and marshalls moving around to keep things smooth, which was good since there was a rock show and folks had drinks. Tons of food trucks to pick from, bathrooms were tidy (even had bidets and paper). Overall, catching a concert here was super enjoyable and I'd totally suggest going if you get the chance.

Arrive at the main Expo City Dubai entrance and follow the signs to the security checkpoint. Have your ticket and ID ready for a smooth entry. Once inside, make your way to the pavilion you’ve selected—there’s no time limit, so take the day at your own pace.

What to bring

Have your ID ready for a seamless experience.

Essentials: Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing (light fabrics, modest attire), sun protection (high SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or cap), reusable water bottle (for free refills on-site), credit/debit card and a small amount of cash, light backpack or bag, and any required prescription medications.

Recommended: Power bank for your phone, plug adaptor (type G for Dubai), snacks, travel guide, camera, scarf or light jacket, and a compact umbrella.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: Smart casual. Beachwear is not allowed.
