RodinaOvěřená rezervacePřed 2 týdny5/5The staff were so helpful and polite . I had 5 children with me and they were very helpful. The visitor centre was very friendly and well organized. Clean facilities, and well organized. The bus was a special treat as my 3 year old loved it , and as it was showery that day a godsend !! The children enjoyed the outdoor activities and fascinated by the little houses . The car parking was good , and had safe footpaths. Overall I and my grandchildren really enjoyed the day .PPaul F
PárOvěřená rezervaceMinulý týden5/5My wife and I enjoy taking a bus trip out there, on arrival the vibe was truely amazing, we then took the short bus trip out to inspect the stone, certainly enjoying the scenery and the walk around, was slightly windy, suggesting a light jacket to wear. On return we entered the gift shop and bought some local wine which is highly recommended. All in all a great experience. Paul & Anna AustraliaMMarte I
RodinaOvěřená rezervacePřed 5 dny5/5Stonehenge isn't just stones—it's silence, time, and awe carved into the earth. I meditated there to bring out the best in me. Standing in that circle, I felt small in the best way. These aren't relics; they're witnesses. Five thousand years of wind and wonder—and still, they hold their ground. I didn't just see Stonehenge. I felt it. And for a moment, I was part of the story.HugoDDoris M
PárOvěřená rezervacePředevčírem5/5There was no line to wait for entrance. Having the buses to ride to the sight was very much appreciated. I enjoyed not having an enormous crowd of people to naviagte through. It was a great idea to schedule visiting times as it kept things running smooth. Also, the staff were very friendly.MMatthew G

What to expect
Stonehenge
Out in open countryside, the stone circle comes into view gradually, rising from flat grasslands with nothing around it to break the horizon.
Features:
-
Walk around the stone circle: Follow the pathways that circle the monument, where each stone stands tall and spaced apart, letting you view the structure clearly from different angles.
-
Neolithic houses and visitor centre: Step into reconstructed Neolithic houses and visit the exhibition space, where tools, objects, and displays help you picture daily life thousands of years ago.
-
Open landscape setting: Take in the wide, uninterrupted surroundings, where the monument sits alone against the sky, making its scale and placement easier to notice.
Salisbury Cathedral
Enter a vast stone interior where long aisles, high ceilings, and filtered light create a calm space that feels very different from the open landscape of Stonehenge.
Features:
-
Cathedral interiors and cloisters: Walk through the nave and quiet cloisters, then step into the open Close where the full cathedral and its tall spire can be seen clearly.
-
Chapter House and Magna Carta: Enter the Chapter House, a circular room with carved stone details, where the 1215 Magna Carta is displayed in a softly lit, enclosed setting.
-
Works Yard route: Follow a one way visitor path through the Works Yard, where sections of the cathedral are being repaired, with scaffolding and stonework visible along the way.
-
Optional train upgrade: Choose to add round trip train transfers from London Waterloo to Salisbury, making it easier to reach both sites without planning your own transport.
