Visiting St. Peter’s Basilica was an unforgettable experience. I was struck by the sheer scale and beauty of the architecture, from the towering dome to the intricate details in every corner. The atmosphere felt both peaceful and powerful, and knowing the history behind the place made it even more meaningful. It was not just visually impressive, but also deeply moving on a personal level. Using Heaout made it easy - a much shorter line, as well as an easy experience.

Schnelleintritt hat sehr gut funktioniert. Zutritt innerhalb von 15 Minuten. Der Audioguide war sehr gut gemacht. Präzise Beschreibungen wo genau man hinsoll zusammen mit sehr guter Audiostory. Diese war wie eine kleine Geschichte gemacht, hatte einen roten Faden und guten Inhalt. Lediglich der Zugangsweg zu den Katakomben hat nicht gestimmt.

Der Petersdom ist beeindruckend und ein Besuch wert.Der Audioguide ganz toll gemacht. Der Rest leider etwas fragwürdig. Am vereinbarten Treffpunkt kam keine Person. Stattdessen die Eintrittskarte aufs Handy. Wir wussten gar nicht wo wir hingehen sollten. Kommunikation erfolgte per WhatsApp. Der Eingang ohne Wartezeit war doch auch noch einige Zeit. Niemand, der einem schon einmal etwas erzählt. Der Audioguide begann dann am Eingangsportal. Ab hier waren wir dann zufrieden. Der Guide erzählte etwas über die Gruft. Dort durften wir mit unserer Karte nicht rein. Übrigens der Eintritt in den Petersdom ist kostenlos.

Facilité de réservation, puis message whatsapp reçu la veille de la visite avec les billets et des explications claires : c'était parfait. Je pense cependant que la rapidité et la fluidité de notre entrée tenaient plus à l'heure choisie (9h) qu'au système lui-même. L'audio guide, bien qu'en anglais seulement (on aimerait une version en français), est bien fait et facile à suivre (même si je n'ai pas utilisé toutes les fonctionnalités). Experience globalement très satisfaisante.

St. Peter's Basilica was extraordinary. The audio- guided tour was very helpful and guided us through, giving good informative details about the history and points of interest. It was easy to follow the instructions and allowed us to move at a comfortable pace. The only drawback was the inability to ask more questions or clarify information. It was still a positive experience.

These visits are unsuitable for individuals with walking difficulties, heart conditions, claustrophobia, dizziness, certain disabilities, anxiety disorders, or for pregnant visitors.

All visitors must pass airport-style security checks.

Additional information

At St. Peter’s Basilica, there are two entrance lines, a free entry line and a reserved entry line. Only visitors with reserved tickets can use the reserved queue. Brief waits may still occur during peak hours due to security procedures. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure smooth check-in.

Entry is only permitted through the reserved entrance line.

Both basilicas enforce a strict dress code; failure to comply may result in denied entry.

The basilicas may close certain sections due to force majeure, which does not entitle visitors to a refund.
