It’s very easy to get to Gaudí’s two iconic houses, and you can get a small discount. Tip: early morning visits are less crowded. It gets very busy, especially in some of the narrower rooms, but the time-stamped tickets help regulate the flow of visitors. The audio guides are very informative, and these houses are a must-see. Special mention goes to the attic and terrace of La Pedrera—they’re absolutely stunning!

Simply absolutely sensational! We were already very impressed by Casa Milà (Casa Pedreira) and its history, which we were able to explore at our own pace thanks to an excellent audio guide. But Casa Battlò took it to the next level. We were simply speechless at the exuberant, fantastic creativity of Antoni Gaudí. The excellent audio guide helped us better understand Gaudí’s intentions and ideas. Taking a break at the small, charming café on the second-floor terrace and visiting the rooftop terrace are also well worth it. Tip: Buy tickets BEFORE you arrive, if possible. And: The earlier in the day you schedule your visit to these two unique buildings, the more space you’ll have, since there aren’t as many tourists yet.

Casa Mila is one of Gaudi's masterpieces that should not be missed. The attic is truly impressive, and walking on the roof offers beautiful views of the city. The audio guide was very useful for better understanding the history and architecture of the building.

La Perdrera itself is a nice experience, however staff working there... some are really pleasant and nice while others are rude, treating guests like cattle even when politely asking them a question.

Sant Pau Modernista

Cut past queues to enter the Sant Pau Modernista Site, a beautiful 19th-century attraction in Barcelona. Walk around this UNESCO World Heritage Site as you learn more about the site built by Lluis Domènech i Montaner by yourself. The hospital de Sant Pau functioned until 2009 and is a structure built in harmony with nature. Find an installation symbolizing a dragon on the upper floor, a tribute to the figure and work of Domènech.

The Art Nouveau architecture combined with manicured gardens and grand exhibitions makes for a pleasant visit. Go to the Sant Salvador Pavilion to see the exhibit that shows the impact this hospital had on the healthcare of Barcelona.
