It was a fantastic experience. The evening cruise is one of the most beautiful cruises, the ship glides silently across the water and its lights are reflected all around. Then, as if by magic, you see the Parliament appear in all its elegance and majesty, a feast of lights and emotions. On the opposite bank, the great Castle dominates Buda, still preserving the memory of its ancient splendor. For about an hour, you can let your imagination run wild, surrounded by lights and sparkling bridges, while sipping a good drink and enjoying something else if you wish. It's really worth it, but it's a shame it only lasts an hour.

The guide thoroughly explained the instructions to access and follow the tour inside. Instructions from APP to reach the cruise docking deck were also accurate. Hello, the tour on February 5, 2026, at 12 p.m. was very good. However, the meeting place with the guide, a very unpleasant woman who didn't even introduce herself—I don't know her first name—made no effort to help if you didn't understand English. This is the first time I've ever seen a guide who has no patience with tourists. She needs to change jobs.

According to all the forums, the parliament was one of the must-see attractions, so we booked our tickets and we didn't regret it. The tour lasts about 45 minutes and includes an audio guide (clear and interesting), and there is a cloakroom (free) at the entrance (very convenient). Be sure to book well in advance if you want to have a choice of time slots with an audio guide in your language. Magnificent!

St Stephen's Basilica

Wear appropriate attire for a church—no sleeveless tops, short skirts, or shorts; men must uncover their heads.

Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited inside the church.

This experience is not suitable for wheelchair users due to accessibility limitations.

On Saturdays, the church may close temporarily for 30 to 60 minutes due to wedding ceremonies.

If the church area is closed for a special ceremony, you can start your visit with the terrace and treasury, then return to the church once it reopens.

You can take one of the two elevators to reach the terrace or climb 160 steps if the elevator has long queues.

Hungarian Parliament

The audio guide is available in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Polish, Slovak, Croatian, Hebrew, Romanian, Serbian, Ukrainian Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Slovenian, Czech, Chinese, Japanese, Bulgarian, Turkish, Hungarian.
