Even though we chose the English-language tour (there were no other options available), the guide—who was very experienced—clearly enjoyed what she was telling us and was very knowledgeable. We loved our guide Paolo who even when we were hijacked by friends from UK whom came upon us unexpectedly was completely unphased with the interruption. His knowledge of the art and sculpture in the gallery was so interesting and even though i have a degree in history of art i found his expert eye fascinating. Would thoroughly recommend this tour with Paolo.

Our guide was energetic and very interesting. Thanks to her in-depth knowledge of the site, we felt like we were getting a much better tour. But above all, make sure to stick to the schedule and arrive half an hour early so you can find your group; otherwise, you’re out of luck—you’ll never catch up with the tour.
