the information in the bus via the audio guide was good. also the 24h ticket is a good possibility to start on the first day late and on the next day early. generally i think the public opinion about hop on hop off busses is that it is a tourism scam, but the tour in barcelona was really great and i enjoyed it. on of the points i think as a visitor would be better is, when you buy the tickets online, you also have the ticket in the Smartphone app. why is it not possible to use the ticket in the smartphone app directly, instead of printing out a ticket, which is then valid. another thing i want to point out is the live location of the bus. in the android app of my collegue it worked very qell, but in my IOS App the live location did not work/ i did not found it.

The entire tour was a pleasure. Barcelona is a city oi wanted to visit for years and I higly recommend the Hop on Hop Off experience when first exploring a new destination. My favorite stops were, by far, Sagrada Famiglia and Park Guell and those left everlasting memories. However, I would like to point out that finding the stops when trying to go on board again was hard The map was not very detailed and we ended up walking long distances and missing out on valuable information of the tour which was disappointing, hence the 4 our of 5 stars given

The mobile app was very useful and informative. The Barcelona hop-on hop-off tour was very sensible, and we couldn't have seen everything in one day on our own. Thanks to this tour, we got a complete tour of Barcelona. We did the full tour and then got off at the stops we liked. You can get off at any stop you want and then get back on the bus. Getting around the city on your own might end up costing you more in tickets, so this tour makes more sense. I'm attaching some photos of the beautiful sights we captured from the bus :)

Excellent experience. I highly recommend it for those who want to do a semi-DIY tour. It stops at many important sites, and for those who have a day to spare, I recommend leaving early so you can visit as many places as possible. Considering that it takes at least 30-60 minutes to visit a particular place and there are 20 stops on the orange route, it is clear that you need to select the most important places to visit according to your tastes.

It was brilliant to be able to hop on & off when we wanted to, and the headphones for the guided tour are a great touch....my 7 year old grandson learnt so much and was still talking about it when we returned home. Great value for money, and I now say that Barcelona and what it offers is my go to city break and we will definitely return.

Good way to have a broad view of the city. But the Football stadium was not included as there was a match on and we were not told about this. It was very cold and we stayed up on the top in order to see the stadium and then the driver turned in the opposite direction as we were approaching it. Then the audio tour was completely mismatched with the journey after that

Barcelona Aquarium

The Barcelona Aquarium is perhaps the best place for families with kids to learn about marine biodiversity and the importance of marine conservation, two themes that run close to everything the Aquarium does in terms of its activities and its setup. The facility is divided into 35 aquariums and enclosures that house approximately 11,000 animals across 450 species. The three main zones include Planeta Aqua, the Oceanarium, and Explora! Children's Area, each more unique than the other. Needless to say, if you have little ones tagging along with you, make sure they check out the Explora! zone to help spark an interest in oceanology!
