A truly memorable visit overall, and genuinely educational for all ages! Getting to see animals you might never encounter elsewhere ( some genuinely rare in the wild ) is a real privilege. We loved the jellyfish room with its stunning lighting, spotted a tiny seahorse on the netting, and admired the lionfish’s flowing spines. The shark tunnel was a highlight, watching them glide right above us, and we also saw a wobbegong shark resting on the rocks, king penguins preening each other, and a turtle gliding past. The aquarium looks compact from outside but is surprisingly spacious inside. That said, as animal lovers, a few things left us uneasy. The dugong was kept alone, which is hard to watch given these are social animals that naturally live in groups. We also think the touch pool with starfish and anemones should be discontinued; these are fragile invertebrates that need calm, undisturbed conditions, unlike rays, which tend to enjoy human contact. More broadly, some enclosures felt too small for the size of the animals in them. A worthwhile and educational visit, but one that left us hoping for real improvements in how these animals are cared for.

Oh it was so lovely.i love sharks and my daughter was amazed with the penguin rides. We were just truly amazed.Looking at them we were thrilled. We just came across this when I searched for places to visit in Sydney and I came because of the reviews. I dont regret for a bit for following the reviews

It was a great experience for the kids they loved it even though we had prepaid tickets it took us some time to get in as you just stood in the line with everyone but was definitely worth the wait
