Visiting the Mezquita early in the morning, as soon as it opens at 10 am, allows the magic of this historic place to unfold. The later you visit it and the more people there are in the building, the more of it is lost. I was there for the 9th time today and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The cathedral/mosque is wonderful, immense, an unimaginable place, where architecture and different religions intertwine to create something unique! In the photos the arches look beautiful, but in person they are something incredible, I absolutely recommend the visit!!!

    It was simply quicker to get through because there were hardly any tourists due to the heat. Then the time/price ratio is worse. And the area around d Mesquita is rubbish, non-original

    Impressive! Beautiful city beautiful historic center. Too bad the botanical gardens and the palace Alcazar de los Reyes were closed to visitors.
