The Hop On Bus Tour is really great. There are two routes: the red and blue lines. It also includes a boat ride on the Doura River and an evening tour for 48 euros. It’s not expensive, because the boat ride alone costs 20 euros if you book it separately.

A great option if you want to explore Porto. I recommend the red route. The blue route gave us a chance to buy jackets at El Corte Inglés that we hadn’t brought with us because it was cold. In conclusion, doing both routes will give you great memories of Porto. And finally, I recommend the Six Bridges cruise; if you like wine, go for the one with wine tasting.

In, Porto, we were staying in Gaia. Once we figured out that we had to be in the Porto side of the river, we found the red li e bus stop. We stayed on the bus for the entire ride and saw beautiful old and modern neighborhoods. We also drive along the Atlantic Ocean, beautiful. The six bridges cruis was on time, every 30 minutes, informative and smooth. Today we will try the blue line and will hop on it on the Gaia side of the river.

Overall, we were very satisfied with all the services. What was extremely annoying, however, was the volume of the audio guide music. Since the bus travels through noisy traffic and it is often windy, you have to turn up the volume to understand the audio guide clearly. But then the music gets so loud that your ears hurt. We saw several passengers who also took their headphones out, shaking their heads. The music is fine to keep, but please make it much quieter.
