A bit hard to find because there are no clear directions; you have to go to the Italia Pass flag. Once you have that info, everything is much easier!

Our visit to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Palatine Hill went very smoothly, and we had no trouble getting in. What I liked most was that everything was well organized and we were able to explore at our own pace. It was a really fun day and a great opportunity to see these places in person.

This is clearly the piece de resistance of any visit to Rome. The preservation is impressive and the atmosphere is second-to-none. The issue was with the audioguide (yet again). There were two of us, but only one access to the audioguide so we tried to have an 'ear' of the headphones each but eventually gave up as it impeded our enjoyment. Also, I had amessage saying I needed to meet someone to exchange my online ticket for a paper one. We followed the directions and ended up on a street corner with nothing and nobody. We went to a tourist information ( a good 15 minute walk in 30 degrees celcius heat) to be informed our tickets were downloadable from the Headout app. This was very confusing (especially for a 49 year old like me!!). Please make things a little clearer regarding this.

We met up with a very friendly guide. It wasn't easy to find because they weren't identified as Headout but rather 'ITALIA Something', but after asking around, it was fine and we were in the right place. The tour and the entrances were easy enough to find, by asking again, of course. The audio guide, well, wasn't great at all. We would have liked an audio guide that explained what we were seeing at specific spots, not just a random, jumbled history of the Colosseum! For the price, I don't think the service is really there!

The audio guide didn't work as it is based on the internet, and the connection was spotty. In addition, I upgraded to the arena floor. The photo on the website suggests that includes what looks like the subsurface. That is a whole other upgrade. Even though what I bought was the FULL EXPERIENCE.

The tickets are fine in terms of what you can visit, but the audio guide is a disaster—the usability, the content... they are not worth the price we paid. If you can, try to buy the tickets on the official website, because the extra cost is exaggerated for what they offer.

The Colosseum

The Colosseum is one of Italy’s most popular destinations, attracting over 5 million visitors every year. Your Colosseum ticket also includes entry to the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Head to the Roman Forum and travel back in time as you walk along the same paths as the ancient Romans did. You’ll get a chance to witness popular sites including the Temple of Antoninus Pius, Temple of Castor and Pollux, Temple of Saturn, Arch of Septimius Severus, and much more. Palatine Hill offers one of the best views of the city. Once considered the most desirable neighborhood in Rome, Palatine Hill lives on an extensive archaeological site and was the chosen spot for Emperors to build their homes. You will also get access to a physical audio-video device and learn more about the Colosseum's glory.

Borghese Gallery

The Borghese Gallery is situated in what used to be the Villa Borghese Pinciana. The building of the gallery was clubbed with the gardens around it at first. The gardens, however, have become a separate attraction for tourists by themselves. Explore the vast collection of sculptures, paintings, and antiquities at your own pace, right from the start. With an escorted entry to the museum, you are likely to notice the magnificent marble sculptures of the Twelve Roman Emperors. A vast array of rare paintings adorn much of the wall. Daphne and Proserpina are intricate and expressive. You could gaze at these sculptures for days and still miss out on the finer expressive details. The rooms are rarely ever crowded due to the controlled inflow of visitors, giving you ample space to stroll around the museum and contemplate the great works of art.

You MUST carry valid ID with you and present it at the time of entry if requested. Should you fail to do so, venue authorities may deny you entry and such instances are not liable for reschedules or refunds.

The experience involves a fair amount of walking, hills, and stairs; as such we recommend wearing comfortable attire and suitable walking shoes.

For safety and security reasons, no large backpacks or pieces of luggage are allowed inside the Colosseum. No storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.

You can enter Palatine Hill and Roman Forum within 24 hours of the ticket time.

Borghese Gallery

Access to the museum is regulated with a mandatory exit at the end of each time slot so tickets are limited and sell out quickly. Tickets will not be available on-site for purchase, especially for same-day entry.

Until the month of May, only two children are allowed access for a time slot.

You may pick up your ticket only on the day of the event at the opening of the checkout counter an hour before the show (until the beginning of the same).

Entry is free for people who are physically challenged as well as their accompanying guardian (carry a valid photo ID).

The Cloakroom is temporarily located outside the Museum.

Luggage storage is mandatory for items such as bags, backpacks, strollers or trolleys, umbrellas, selfie sticks, or other items whose danger or size is assessed by the security staff.

It is also forbidden to enter the Museum with food, drinks (including water), and animals (with the exception of guide dogs).
