Our visit to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum was simply impressive. The Colosseum is huge, and it’s easy to imagine how gladiator fights used to take place there. The history behind the walls and the atmosphere of this historic site were particularly fascinating. Afterward, we walked through the Roman Forum, where you can see the ruins of the ancient Roman city. It felt like traveling back in time. The combination of history, architecture, and culture was unique. The visit was both educational and fascinating. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in history or visiting Rome.

Bought tickets in advance and all print outs said 12.00 o clock. Went and met the guide who was not as discribed green bib yes - black and green flag no. We got our tickets to get in and these were changed by Headout to 12.30pm ! No explanation. As we arrived early (told to ) we then had an extra half hour on top. Hence 4 stars and dont think I would go through Headout again for this and previous experience. The Colosseum is fantastic and due to delay and then stayed in that long did not have time to visit Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. So worth the visit , but not happy with the wait.

The tickets for the Colosseum, booked in advance through Headout, could be picked up at a small office near the attraction. The extremely friendly staff provided clear explanations about the entrance, the audio tour, and the supplement for admission to the Roman Forum. The Colosseum itself is extremely impressive, and the audio tour provides ample information about its origins and background. We will definitely choose Headout again next time.

Buying the tickets was very easy and straightforward. All the information was available in the app. Be sure to read everything. Before entering, the ticket and the audio guide had to be "redeemed" digitally with a man sitting on a stool. That was a bit odd, but everything went smoothly. The man was very friendly. The Pantheon itself is highly recommended. Be sure to book the audio guide. It was a very impressive experience.

Very easy access to the website after purchase. Receipt of a QR code by email. On the day of the visit, you need to find the representative who speaks several languages, which is very helpful, and who gives you the tickets for the visit and explains how to use the audio guide. Convenient and quick, it avoids the wait to buy tickets. A phone number is provided in case you are unable to find the representative.

The communication from the staff was excellent. The day before the activity, we received a clear email explaining where to meet, how to use the audio guide, and how to contact the guide if needed. On the day itself, the guide arrived on time and was friendly and helpful. We entered the Colosseum straight away, and the full arena experience was phenomenal. The audio guide was detailed and very informative. Great value thank you

When we arrived, the staff member was friendly. But no, we didn’t get any instructions about the audio guide. We asked an assistant who spoke French. He told us we must have received an email with codes, then he went off to help other people. We looked for it and wasted time. We went back to him, but he was already busy. He gave us the same answer. We were convinced we’d have a headphone system, but actually, no. He told us we had to download an app, then he left. Twenty minutes had already passed... we finally got the app. And then we needed a code. We went back to see him. Still busy. There was almost no one left but us; all the other tourists had already left. He asked us to take a screenshot of the ID he had on his phone. We finally managed to log into the app, and then... 180 MB to download!!! It kept crashing right up until the end, even though I have an iPhone that’s barely two years old. By the time we’d waited in line... we got into the Forum after 50 minutes!!! Annoyed, of course. We listened to two or three audio tracks that didn’t match what we were seeing in front of us. Really very disappointed. We left almost immediately. No point in looking at stones and ruins without any explanations!!! Really disappointed because we had high hopes for this visit. We didn’t even want to use the audio guide for the Colosseum. We decided we’d watch a video on YouTube once we got home to understand the history of the Forum and the Colosseum. We didn’t visit the Palatine Hill because we ran out of time. We had a schedule to stick to for the Colosseum. Too bad for the price.

It was very awe inspiring seeing the sights and how well preserved and restored everything is. When entering the the colosseum the ticket sends you to one entrance , only to be told we're at the wrong entrance, this is after queuing for some time. Nothing is clear about where to go for what. You should have staff walking around for people to ask if uncertain. This would make it more relaxing and enjoyable and not waste valuable time when you have a limited time to spend there. We also had our time cut short as they closed earlier than advertised, so we didn't get a chance to walk everywhere. The signage is not clear as to where you are and therefore difficult to get the audio guide to sync with where you are.
