Having watched the New Year’s Concert for many decades now, I really wanted to visit this wonderful hall at least once. I was deeply impressed. The acoustics in this hall are simply fantastic. The concert was beautiful, and The Four Seasons in particular suited this wonderful concert hall perfectly. The concertmaster who led the performance was exceptionally skilled, and the other musicians were wonderfully in sync with one another. Although there were “only” 16 musicians, it felt as though a full orchestra was on stage. Truly fantastic—I’d love to go again.

The building was amazing and the atmosphere wonderful. Music was what could be expected, fabolous and captivating. Familiar Vivaldi and Mozart. First violinist was unbelievable. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable and hard and it was a bit hot for the whole time. So one could be prepared for lighter clothing. But overall an experience not to be missed in Vienna.

The entire experience was a WOW moment!! The Golden Hall is worth the visit - elegant , royal with a beautiful olde world charm. The recital was superb The orchestra artists were excellent so was the soloist. We had great seats. Overall experience is a 5👍

Beautiful hall. Astonishing playing which I was not expecting. Thought it would just be a nice touriisty thing to do but was not expecting such skillful musicianship. The young players were precise and nailed it. Well Done!! A very enjoyable evening.

The musicians were excellent, and we also enjoyed the program. What was unacceptable, however, was the audience’s lack of discipline, which made it impossible to enjoy the concert: constant disturbances caused by talking and cell phones ringing. Not to mention that people clapped during every pause between movements—and sometimes even in the middle of the movements. In the future, we will make sure not to book any more events for mainstream tourism with an audience that clearly has no interest in such events.
