Checking in was smooth. Reached way too early for the show since we were seated 30mins before the performance. Coats & bags have to be deposited in a cloakroom which is paid as per piece. Brahms Hall was amazing and the performance was just breathtaking. Great acoustics and the artists literally took our breath away. We got the balcony seats and although there were two pillars that may obstruct the view, the audio just makes up for it since you would probably be mesmerised and enjoy it with your eyes closed.

The performance was amazing with 8 violins, 3 violas, 2 cellos, a bass and a harpsichord. In the first half there was also bassoons, oboes and French horns.

My wife felt this was the finest performance of the Vivaldi work that she has ever heard. It was dynamic and very responsive to the demands of score.

The acoustics in the Brahms Hall are perfect for a string orchestra. Even though The Four Seasons is a classical "greatest hit," you could really see how much the orchestra enjoyed playing. It was a delight. I thought it was a shame that there were recurring background noises caused by the audience, such as items being dropped. The audience applauded after every movement, which in my view ruins the impact of the music. Since not everyone buys a program, an announcement might be helpful. I think the atmosphere would be even nicer if the hall were dimmed a bit during the concert. Overall, though, it was a very wonderful experience.

Superb performance, such good musicians, excellent acoustics in memorable hall I should have chosen better seats, as although booked 3 months earlier seat selection had very compromised sight line. Music made up for it though
