FamilyVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5Good evening; I am absolutely certain that this was the most exciting experience of our family vacation (myself, my wife, and our 7-year-old daughter). Unfortunately, we spent only five days in Edinburgh, but the Royals' summer residence is truly unforgettable. The rooms—intimate in size yet exquisitely furnished down to the last detail—create a genuinely welcoming, home-like atmosphere. It is easy to imagine oneself as a lucky guest at the parties held there, or to relive the tragic moments in the Princess's chambers with a genuine sense of distress—especially upon seeing the bloodstain left by Rizzio, still visible on the beautiful wooden floor of the meeting room. Creaking floors and oak-paneled walls that carry the scent of history—unforgettable! The grandeur of the gardens shown in the photos and the splendid Rolls-Royce—royal in the true sense of the word.PPauline C
CoupleVerified bookingYesterday5/5The check-in went smoothly and directions were clearly provided. The headset was easy to understand and app tour was available. The wall through the palace was entertaining and interesting. The walk around the grounds was lovely and the weather cooperated the entire time. We followed up the for with a strenuous hike up to the cliffs, looking out over the city. We enjoyed the flora and fauna.JJoanne S
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5It was much better than I expected, it was very interesting and the information from the headphones that you get is really good, if I had known how good it was i would have bought the full package, I only purchased for Holyrood House. I would definitely recommend it both myself and my daughter loved it, a very enjoyable couple of hours.MMaria G
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5Had a wonderful visit there. As I suffer from hearing loss I was given special headphones which were very clear and helped me follow the tour perfectly. The palace as amazing and the gardens are a beauty. Enjoyed it all! The staff are extremely helpful....the coffee and dessert were delicious too! Keep up the good work. Maria Malta.CCarlos G
GroupVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5Buying tickets, entering the venue, and navigating the tour are all simple. The tour route is very well marked, and the audio guide is very comprehensive. Given all this, combined with how beautiful the palace is and how interesting the information is, it’s impossible not to thoroughly enjoy the visit. Best regards
Double the delight for less! Enjoy a money-saving deal on a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus tour through Edinburgh’s top attractions and a regal day out at the Holyrood Palace.
