Getting started

After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a voucher link to your digital ticket. Open the link and activate the ticket before boarding your first bus.

The SUNQ Pass is a regional transport ticket offering unlimited rides on express and local buses.

Features

Bus network coverage: Use the pass across approximately 2,400 bus routes covering Northern Kyushu, Shimonoseki, and Nagato.

Ferry routes: The pass also includes access to five ferry routes within the SUNQ Pass network.

Flexible usage: Choose between passes allowing two travel days within three days or three travel days within five days.

Express bus reservations: Some express buses require reservations through the official SUNQ Pass reservation website.

Upgrades

Choose a longer travel option with the 3-day pass usable within a five-day period.

What to bring

Access the digital ticket through the voucher link received in the confirmation email.

What’s not allowed

Using the pass after the selected travel days within the activation period end.

Accessibility depends on the operating bus company and the specific route.

Additional information

Digital ticket voucher link is sent to the registered email after booking.

Activate the digital ticket from the voucher link before boarding your bus.

Express bus reservations must be made through the SUNQ Pass website.

Voucher valid for three months from purchase; unused tickets cancellable with ¥110 fee.

From Jul 1, 2025 the pass cannot be used on the Fukuoka–Nagato Yumoto Onsen bus.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
