Our tickets worked very smoothly at all the attractions we went to. I did not feel that the price of the pass was as good of a value compared to other city cards I've purchased. We had a difficult time with the bus - there are too many buses in Stockholm that looked similar and said "hop on/hop off", and we never seemed to pick the correct one. There were also bus route changes that made things even more confusing. We ended up doing a lot of walking around Stockholm instead of being able to use the transportation with the card.

I had booked expecting to be able to take the steam ship to Drotningholms but found out this wasn't running as we're many of the other interesting boat tours. Also was not aware that the Go City app loaded a different app, also called GoCity with the tickets in. The Headout app wouldn't recognise my booking number (some attraction workers also tried and couldn't get it to work). All the messing around cost us several hours that we could have been using the passes elsewhere.

These tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Seamless activation

Download the Go City app and download your pass. Enter your pass' confirmation number present in the mail you've received after booking.

Your pass gets activated when you visit your first attraction or tour.

Valid for 1 to 5 consecutive days (depending on the option you've picked), your day 1 starts when you scan your pass at your first attraction and ends at midnight. For example, if you've visited your first attraction at 3pm, your day 1 ends at 12am.

The passes are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Some attractions may need reservations in advance.

Some attractions could have age and attire requirements.

You can take unlimited tours on the green-colored hop-on hop-off buses and the red-colored City Sightseeing Stockholm buses.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

How do I use my pass

Firstly, download the Go City app. You can then use your order confirmation number to add your pass to your phone. Et voilà, it'll be right there on the app. (But don't worry, your pass won't activate until you visit your first attraction!).
