Allegria was a fantastic experience with an extraordinary concept in every way. The live music provided the backdrop for a story full of magic and beauty, but also suspense. The performers exuded presence and grace, strength, and personality. The artists’ choreography was perfectly timed down to the second, yet performed with effortless ease. The aerialists, in particular, were indescribably virtuosic, but the fire artists were also impressive. The clowns managed to connect with the audience in a universal way during the short interludes. Not to be forgotten are the beautiful and innovatively elaborate costumes, the fantastic lighting, and the stage design, which was reconfigured for every scene and is a masterpiece of engineering. Every moment counted. In the finale, the aerial artists formed a circle of the sun. A beautiful image. Cirque du Soleil remains unbeatable in poetry, aesthetics, and outstanding acrobatics. The artists, the costumes, and the atmosphere are unparalleled. We are grateful that we were able to see it so close to home. ☀️

I was really surprised to find free parking and such plenty of parking spaces. That made the trip there very pleasant. The entrance/security check went quickly. I was shocked by the prices—I thought €9 for a sausage was outrageous. It’s a shame there weren’t more seats in the outdoor area. I thought the organization was great. There were lots of staff members, all very friendly and helpful. The organization inside the tent with the ushers was great. The performance was wonderful and very well choreographed. We really enjoyed it. It’s amazing what great artists and acrobats there are ❤️. We also really liked the live music and the teamwork of the whole crew. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Thank you 🌸

Seeing Cirque du Soleil’s *Alegria* was a wonderful and fantastic experience. I had wanted to see the show back when it first opened in the 1990s, but unfortunately didn’t have the time. Now that I’m retired, I’ve finally managed to go, and I’m deeply moved and thrilled by the performance. The acrobats and their performances were magnificent. I really enjoyed the music, and the song “Alegria” in particular touched me deeply; I felt both sad and happy at the same time (even though I didn’t understand the lyrics due to my lack of language skills). All in all, the visit was worth every penny.

It was simply a feast for all the senses. I can’t even describe what was the best part because everything, without exception, was absolutely amazing. Endless goosebump moments, stunning costumes, and absolutely remarkable teamwork from the entire cast. The performance they deliver is absolutely incredible. As a physical therapist, I take my hat off to such physical discipline. These are people who make others smile. And every round of applause is well deserved.

The story

Through acrobatics, live music, and evolving circus tableaux, the story explores how power shifts and how hope resurfaces. As change gathers force, the question becomes whether the old world will hold, or whether a new one is ready to break through.

My daughter and I went to see Cirque du Soleil: Alegría for a mommy-daughter date night, and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve ever shared. From the moment the show began, we were completely captivated. Every performance was beyond impressive — the talent, precision, and artistry left us speechless. My favorite parts were the incredible singing, breathtaking acrobatics, and the trapeze performances that had us literally on the edge of our seats. There were moments that genuinely made us tear up, even my daughter, because we became so invested in the performance. The music, costumes, and atmosphere were absolutely magical. The event was extremely well organized; the trip there by RB and S-Bahn was smooth and on time, and the ticket was included in the admission price—that’s exemplary. I personally didn’t need it because of the Deutschlandticket, but for everyone else, it’s definitely a cost-saving benefit. That’s offset by the exceptionally high drink prices—is that really worth it? I, for one, “boycotted” it: €7 for a beer, €12 for Prosecco??!! The show itself was very professional—it doesn’t get much better than that—though the clown acts were clearly too long. Ticket prices have generally gone up significantly; we had decent seats for 99€ after all, and seats even closer cost nearly 200€. All in all, just under 4 stars.
