It was definitely worth my time!!! Sugar loaf was a sugar rush exciting experience!!! I love how organised, kind and courteous the guides were. It is wonderful place to spend the day with family and luckily I was with my sister. The location has the cleanest public rest rooms I have seen on such tourist site so far. Definitely enjoyed my time Christ the Redeemer was a spectacular treat, I will definitely return with my family as much as I can. Catholics would definitely appreciate the confession station. It also so beautiful to watch the sunset from the top.

Getting there was quick and easy; there’s always some doubt about whether it’s real or not, and in this case, we decided to take a chance to save a little money. When we bought the first package, they gave us a 25% discount, so we saved about 100 reais. It’s more convenient than taking a chance on a tour (because they rush you through everything) or a van (where you might get scammed). It took us a while to get to the Maracanã, but the kids were really friendly and everything went smoothly.

An unforgettable experience. Everything was very well organized, from the transportation to the visit to Christ the Redeemer. What to bring

Carry your printed voucher to exchange for a boarding pass at the Corcovado Train box office on the day of the visit. Ensure your ID is on hand for a smooth experience.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, light clothing on hot days, and carrying sunscreen and sunglasses.

The train and viewing platforms are wheelchair accessible.

The experience involves climbing about 222 steps. But, for your convenience, ramps and elevators are available at the statue.

Boarding point: Rua Cosme Velho, 513 – Cosme Velho.

Getting there: The Corcovado Train departs from Cosme Velho Station, located about 30 minutes by car from central Rio areas such as Copacabana, Ipanema, and Flamengo.

Avoid driving your own car since there is no parking nearby. Use a taxi, Uber, or public bus to reach the station.

The selected time slot is for the train going up to the Statue, the exact departure time will be confirmed on your boarding pass. Arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time for a smooth boarding experience.

Note: Trains depart approximately every 30 minutes. Priority boarding applies only to the uphill train; return transfers are on a first-come, first-served basis. So, plan your return accordingly.
