During our trip to Brazil, we visited Aqua Rio. The tour was very rewarding and impressive; we saw several species and were especially enchanted by the penguins and little Nur and her mother. Learning their story—and that of the other animals—and how they came to be here was truly inspiring. We really liked the facility and how it was run; it was very clean in every way. They teach visitors to respect and care for these species, as well as raise awareness about wildlife trafficking and abuse, emphasizing that each animal plays a role in nature. For our daughter, who is a wildlife veterinarian, it was an incredible experience; she also got to learn more about the species they have here. She loved the visit. You should definitely visit and stop by their gift shop, where you’ll find some very cute items. As for us, when we return to Brazil, Aqua Río will once again be part of our itinerary.

I had a great experience visiting AquaRio in Rio de Janeiro. The aquarium was beautiful and very interesting, and I really enjoyed the visit. The booking process with Headout was quick and easy. I had a small issue because I didn’t receive my tickets at first, but the support team solved it very quickly and were extremely kind and helpful. Overall, everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend it!

It's an incredible place to visit with the family. All varieties of ecosystems and not the usual animals. Takes time if you appreciate the moment and want to learn. It's not only for kids, as I said, the whole family will enjoyed. Very accessible for tourist kike me, use the train, Uber, taxis, all of them know the place. Extrategiacal area with many things to do around.

The aquarium is amazing from the moment you arrive. The variety of tanks, each home to a wide range of fish from every continent, was wonderful, and the large glass-bottomed pool with the underwater tunnel—seeing sharks and rays swimming right above our heads—is a memory we’ll never forget. Congratulations.

Beautiful aquarium. The entrance was smooth: youre greeted by the personnel who guide you according to the type of ticket you get (theres tickets for only the aquarium, which were the ones we got, but there are other additional places you can visit for an extra, such as the wax museum) Theres tons of different species and key spots to take beautiful photos and videos (such as the colorful jellyfish tank or the piranha tank where you can take a cool 360• pic/vid). The route along the aquarium is siglanised properly. Theres also key information regarding each species on a plaque next to their enclosure.

Entry includes access to all AquaRio exhibits, the largest marine aquarium in South America.
