Main Façade Entrance (Alonso Cano Entrance)
Located on Plaza de las Pasiegas, this is the cathedral’s primary entrance, easily recognized by its three monumental Baroque arches and ornate sculptures. The entrance is step-free and suitable for most visitors, including those with limited mobility. Wheelchair users may require assistance due to the historic paving outside, but the entry itself is wide and accessible. Clear signage and staff are present to guide visitors.
South Transept Entrance
Situated along Calle Marqués de Gerona, this secondary entrance is occasionally used for group tours or special events. It offers step-free access and is close to the cathedral’s side chapels. Accessibility is generally good, though the approach may involve some uneven cobblestones typical of Granada’s old town.
Regular Hours: Monday to Saturday from 10:00am to 6:15pm (last entry at 6:00pm). Sundays and public holidays from 3:00pm to 6:15pm (last entry at 6:00pm). The cathedral closes daily at 6:45pm.
Special Closures: Closed on December 24–25, December 31, and January 1. Please note that certain chapels or exhibits may close unexpectedly for Mass or maintenance—check on-site signage for updates.
