Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is one of the most recognized symbols of the United States. The Statue is a giant neo-classical sculpture that stands 305 feet in height on Liberty Island in the New York harbor. The statue was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and built by Gustave Eiffel. Meant to be a gift from the people of France to the United States, the statue has stood mightily in the harbor since 1886.

Statue of Liberty Cruise

Statue of Liberty Cruises are the best way to enjoy the sights around the New York harbor. Apart from the Statue of Liberty and Liberty Island, you will also be able to see Battery Park, South Street Seaport, sections of Wall Street, Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge. You will also go past other islands in the region such as Governor’s Island and Ellis Island.

Ferry to Statue of Liberty

Ferries to the Statue of Liberty can be seen departing from Battery Park. However, there are multiple cruises from one of the many piers in Manhattan.
