Last week

The whole experience was fantastic. If you include the hotel transfer, you only get about 1.5 - 2 hours in kuranda. Next time, we will drive to Cairns station, do the train and get the skytrain at the later time. The n uber from smithfield back to the station to give us more time in Kuranda

Along with the many beautiful sites to see in Cairns, the Cairns aquarium offers a unique experience that takes you through many biomes of biodiversity and the journey all starts off with a single drop of rain! As a fellow aquarium volunteer at Monterey Bay Aquarium, I found the conservation effort and info to be very impressive! I actually wished I could have talked to more guides about the animals because there were so many strange creatures. Nonetheless, a wonderful experience and I loved the well-decorated aquariums for the animals.

This tour was exceptional value for money. I felt that it was worth a lot more than what I paid. Exceptional service by the tour company for very friendly and efficient transfer service. This definitely took the hassle and stress out of the day. The driver shared very relevant and useful information about the timings of the train and Gondola, and also his recommendations for a Kangaroo Pie were on point. It was very unique and tasty. The views are breath taking, the experience I will never forget, and it truly was a remarkable activity to do while exploring Cairns. I would highly recommend this - it would be silly to miss out.

Some seats in our carriage were double booked. There were plenty of spare seats available but we were told that the train was fully booked and that we would be picking up more passengers at Freshwater. One of the double booked parties was told to move. When we stopped at Freshwater no one got on the train and we departed with many spare seats. As one of the double booked parties were visitors from Canada I felt embarrassed to witness this . In the computer age how is this cock up possible?
