Although my experience with using the Leonardo Express was a good one, my experience using the booking system was not. In my haste to book a ticket for the following day, I did not see that the system had defaulted the direction of my travel to Airport to Termini. It wasn't until I was trying to scan my tickets for myself and my travel companion that I realised the error. This was a costly episode as I then had to book additional tickets so that we didn't miss our train and our flight.

Although I was staying at the airport Hotel I was taking a train the following day and had to get to the main train station in Rome the next day. I booked the tickets easily online. The signage to the trains was clear and easy to follow. The train was right on time...it was clean inside and left as scheduled. The cost was easily less than half of the cost of a cab and I would highly recommend the Leonardo Express to anyone as a fast and efficient way to get into the city.

Easy and hassle free way to get to the city centre. Just follow the signs for Leonardo train. Lots of ticket machines on the way but handy to buy online after arrival in the airport. About 10 mins walk after clearance of passport. Tickets were checked on the train as well as the gate. In the centre in 30 mins.

We landed early therefore we needed to board a train earlier than booked. We were allowed to do so but had to pay an additional cost of €5 each. This was just a little on the downside as you don't have to incur these costs if you miss you designated train as your ticket is valdid for the whole day. Jus wondering why different for arriving at the airport early and having to incur a charge? Otherwise great trip on train but a little over crowded.

I couldn't use my ticket on Oct. 3 at 11:10 because the Termini station was closed due to a demonstration outside the station. I had to take a taxi (€55,- !!) to the airport. Is it possible to get a refund of €14,- for the ticket not used?

Enjoy a comfortable and speedy transfer between Fiumicino Airport and Termini station in just 32 minutes. This pass allows you to skip any lines for tickets and unnecessary delays due to multiple stops. If you wish to leave Rome or have just arrived aboard the Leonardo Express, quickly reach the destination of your choice.

When you land at the Airport, simply move to the shuttle station within the premise, and catch the train which leaves every 15 minutes. Rome Termini railway station is conveniently located in the center of the city allowing you multiple options to explore from here. You can take the exit onto Via Marsala to the right side, onto Via Giolitti to the left side, or onto Piazza Dei Cinquecento straight away.

If Rome Termini is not your final destination, it is super easy to catch a taxi or go for Metro lines A and B. You can also find options for various bus routes from this point.

    Borghese Gallery

The Borghese Gallery is situated in what used to be the Villa Borghese Pinciana. The building of the gallery was clubbed with the gardens around it at first. The gardens, however, have become a separate attraction for tourists by themselves.

Explore the vast collection of sculptures, paintings, and antiquities at your own pace, right from the start. As you enter the museum, you are likely to notice the magnificent marble sculptures of the Twelve Roman Emperors. A vast array of rare paintings adorn much of the wall. Daphne and Proserpina are intricate and expressive. You could gaze at these sculptures for days and still miss out on the finer expressive details. The rooms are rarely ever crowded due to the controlled inflow of visitors, giving you ample space to stroll around the museum and contemplate the great works of art.
