It was all very beautiful, apart from the green area, it was wonderful, enchanting, to know his story, the beauty of his soul, what he left us. You'd have to spend two days in that place to get to know it all.

It is an imposing castle. It is a museum but you can feel what it was like to live there. The atmosphere takes you back to the difficult and special era when it was at its peak. The view from the terrace is panoramic. Some will simply admire it. Others will think about ancient Rome up to our days, and the suffering of ordinary people.

The visit to the Castle is incredible and learning about its history is fascinating. We went in the late afternoon and stayed until the end to see the sunset and Rome lit up at night.

What an amazing building! It's rich in history and definitely worth reading the signs. The views are stunning! If I did it again I would seek out an audio guide at least. Check in was a breeze.
