About Bioparc Valencia

Bioparc Valencia sprawls across 10 hectares (25 acres) within Valencia's Turia riverbed, offering a unique wildlife sanctuary experience. Unlike traditional zoos, it embraces 'zooimmersion,' allowing animals to roam freely in their African habitats while you can observe them without barriers. Encounter over 4,000 animals, including Makena, the Valencian Community's first elephant. Explore three distinct zones—Savannah, Madagascar, and Equatorial Africa—connected by pathways and tunnels. At Bioparc Valencia, expect an encounter with wildlife amidst natural features like rivers, ponds, and rocks.

Valencia definitely impressed (and yet to see the Mestalla). But what a city of sights🥰 Can recommend the bus tour around the city and then jumping off at the Mediterranean seaside for some lunch and a stroll on the boardwalk. Then a stroll home past the Torres dels Serrans such a fantastic public space with football pitches and other sporting activities. We loved it. A little chilly with the breeze, but the sun did warm us. #kerrys60th2026

We visited Valencia Bioparc on Sunday, January 11. Before entering, the staff made sure we didn't have any food with us: we had to leave what we had outside, in special lockers at a cost of €2, a quick and easy procedure (it's a shame we didn't know about this rule, which should be better specified when purchasing tickets online). Admission was quick and there was no queue, thanks in part to the fact that we had purchased our tickets online, which makes entry much easier and faster. Overall, the visit was very enjoyable; the park is well maintained and particularly suitable for families with children. At the entrance, they also took photos of us, which we then had the opportunity to purchase at the end of the visit. It was a positive and relaxing experience. The next day, Monday, we visited the Oceanographic. Again, access was fairly smooth, with no particular queuing problems, especially as we had already purchased our tickets online. The facility is very large and divided into different themed areas: perhaps they could be organized a little better to make the route even more intuitive, but the visit is still enjoyable and manageable. One of the best moments was definitely the dolphin show, which was very beautiful and included in the ticket price. It took us almost three hours to visit the entire park, as it is quite large. The Oceanographic is also highly recommended for families with children. Overall, both experiences are worthwhile and represent two interesting stops to include in a visit to Valencia, both easily accessible by public transport.

Giving my son this enjoyable experience for his birthday was truly an unforgettable experience. Small crowds, excellent organization, and impeccable cleanliness in both parks. Highly recommended.
