Bioparc Valencia is known for its commitment to recreating natural African habitats. There are no glass barriers or railings separating the animals and the visitors but instead there are natural formations such as rocks and rivers. Developed in 1975 by David Hancocks at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo, this approach creates a better experience for both visitors and animals.
