You'll also have the chance to visit the European Bison Show Reserve, where you can observe these magnificent animals in their natural environment. The trip also includes stops at the Park Palace and the Orthodox Parish of St. Nicholas, where you can learn about the area's unique history.
Take a three-hour guided hike in the Strictly Protected Area in the center of Bialowieza to see how nature has developed without any interference from humans. Stop by the European Bison Show Reserve, where you may see bison and other animals in a more natural setting. Visit the Park Palace, a beautiful park that was formerly the hunting home of the Russian tsars, and look for foxes, wild boars, and other native animals. Visit the oldest structure in Bialowieza, a timber manor house that has seen several uses throughout the years, and learn about its rich history.
The Orthodox Parish of St. Nicholas, erected by Tsar Alexander III, is a sight to see, with its distinctive porcelain iconostasis and gorgeous red brick architecture.
