My Portuganephew was traveling with me in Portugal as a graduation present for him. He is an avid sports fan of all types of sports. We were disappointed that there were no games in Lisbon when we were there. Fortunately, we found the tour of Benfica Stadium and booked it. What a wonderfully organized and thorough tour of The stadium and background. We especially enjoyed the chance to see the eagle mascots up close and to tour all around the amazing stadium. We added the tour of the museum as well when we finished the stadium tour. It was also so well organized, and well done. My nephew was very pleased and surprised to be able to have this experience in place of actually getting to see a game.

Long queue outside. Better to try and get here when it opens. But once inside, on a self-guided tour, it's so big and impressive that it feels empty!
We have some great memories with Victoiria the mascot!
The museum is equally impressive.

Getting tickets was easy. It was good to see there were reductions for seniors.
We enoyed the aquarium far more than we expected. It was set out really well and we spent around 3 hours inside.
The cable car was enoyable but we were very disappointed to discover that we were expected to pay extra for the viewing tower. That was not made clear.

The central tank acted as a touchstone for the ocean as we went to each of the represented areas. My sister is in a wheelchair and there were always friendly staff to show us to elevators as needed.

The aquarium is one of the best I have been to. I especially loved their Sea Dragons! I got there early and it was not too crowded. By the time I left it was packed. Get there early to avoid the crowds.
