An amazing show, not only because of the performance itself—which I had already seen in other countries—but because of the setting where it takes place. Explaining Matisse through colors, supported by his artworks, felt truly beautiful to me. The venue, despite its original purpose, the time period when it was built, and the origins of the laborers, represents a real human challenge.

I had already been to two previous exhibitions that I was really thrilled with. Unfortunately, this exhibition with the dinosaurs is very language-dependent—meaning that without knowledge of French, much of the information shared remains lost on you. No question, the visuals are beautiful and you might think the dinosaurs are still alive, but I didn't feel the same enthusiasm here as I did for Ocean and, two years ago, Van Gogh and Vermeer.

Plenty of parking spaces thanks to booking online! We were welcomed by responsible and smiling security guards, and then we showed our tickets to an engaging and smiling young woman! Now we are fully immersed—immersed in a sea of colors where we are overwhelmed by Frida's brilliant and colorful paintings. A stunning production where our eyes and all our senses can't quite take in all the information. Slowly we drift toward Henri Matisse, who surprises us, challenges us, and sweeps us away into his own colorful and welcoming world. Time flies, the magic happens, and it's time to leave, but we have stars in our eyes and a crazy desire to return to this enchanted world 🤩

It's super annoying to have to download a separate app just for the ticket you've already paid for, and they only tell you that afterwards... that's really poor form. And then it's just ads, ads, ads. Next time, I'll just buy a ticket on-site. There was no queue at all and, apart from this unnecessarily annoying experience with the app, the show was wonderful! Les Bassins des Lumières is definitely worth it! Highly recommended.

We went there on a weekday at 11 a.m.... not many people... perfect.... Parking in front of the building, on-site reception, signs inside, restrooms inside.... and that magical moment of immersion with bleachers, benches... Time just flies by… don’t hesitate to explore the space… we’ll definitely be back for more screenings.

Tickets purchased online, so no queue. Inside it is magical, magnificent, and grandiose. The only minor downside is that entry does not take place at the time on the ticket, so the screening had already started, meaning we had to wait for the next one to see what we had missed.
