A superb exhibition The lighting is exceptional, and the venue creates an atmosphere that really showcases the works. Furthermore, having seen the Matisse exhibition at the Grand Palais, I found that the commentary and explanations in Bordeaux were truly respectful of the emotions evoked by the art, whereas in Paris, the curator seemed more intent on glorifying himself than on honoring the artist.

Easy online booking, not too crowded, smooth flow of traffic within the museum, and a beautiful exhibition. I loved Matisse, an explosion of color and poetry, but less so Frida Kahlo, whose digital rendering was more static.
