I highly recommend taking a tour rather than going on your own. You'll skip the lines at the entrance, and the guide is essential for understanding the visit, especially at the second camp (the extermination camp), where there is no printed information. It was a moving and very interesting experience. Compared to other cultural tourist attractions, I think this is the most interesting one in Poland (!). However, we would have liked the guide to go a little slower because the information is VERY dense, and for the break to last longer than 10 minutes because we didn't have time to eat anything or even go to the bathroom. It wouldn't be a bad idea to give visitors a bottle of water, as the tour lasts 7 hours and it's a nice gesture.

Our visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau was a deeply moving and necessary experience. The organization through Headout was impeccable; the transportation arrived on time and the guide was extremely respectful and knowledgeable, explaining every historical detail with great sensitivity. Walking through the barracks and seeing the remains of the camps leaves you speechless, but it is essential to understanding history. I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking, especially in Birkenau. The logistics were flawless, allowing us to focus entirely on the importance of the site. A powerful experience that everyone should have at least once.

Visiting the Auschwitz concentration camp is a deeply disturbing and necessary experience. It is not a simple tourist visit, but a direct confrontation with one of the darkest chapters in human history. Walking among the barracks, the tracks, the cells, and the personal belongings of the victims makes it impossible to remain indifferent: every space tells a story of pain, fear, and suffering that goes beyond words. The silence that envelops the camp is perhaps the most powerful aspect. A silence laden with memory, which forces you to slow down, reflect, and face what happened. The historical explanations, precise and documented, help to understand not only the facts, but also the context and responsibilities, avoiding any form of sensationalism. Auschwitz is not a place you leave feeling "good," but it is a place you leave feeling more aware. It is a visit that leaves a deep mark, inviting memory, respect, and vigilance, so that what happened is never forgotten and, above all, never repeated. It is a difficult but essential experience.

The guided tour of Auschwitz was undoubtedly one of the most powerful and educational experiences I have ever had. From the very beginning, the guide demonstrated profound knowledge, absolute respect for the site, and great sensitivity in dealing with such a sensitive subject. What I liked most about the tour was the way the guide managed to contextualize history, not only with facts and dates, but with human stories that really make you reflect. The explanation was clear, organized, and very well structured, which helped to better understand the magnitude of what happened without losing focus on the victims and their memory. In addition, the tour was very well managed in terms of timing and organization. We were able to visit both Auschwitz I and Birkenau with detailed explanations, moments for reflection, and space to ask questions. It is an emotionally difficult visit, but absolutely necessary. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to better understand history and pay tribute to those who suffered there.

It was truly impressive and very sad to realize what the reality was like. The guide was 10/10, explaining everything in great detail. You can choose which language to do the tour in; I did it in English. I highly recommend it. Royal Tour lived up to what you would expect from this type of tour. You go in as one person and come out as another.

A place of remembrance that is essential for understanding one of the most tragic chapters in history. The visit is difficult and deeply moving, but necessary. The memorial is maintained with great respect and historical accuracy. It should be visited in silence, with awareness and humility.
