We booked the guided English tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau through Headout and had a really good experience overall. Our pickup time was changed from 9:00 AM to 5:30 AM, which was very early, but we had already seen in other reviews that this can happen. We were also informed by email the day before, so it wasn’t a surprise. The meeting point was well organized – several buses were lined up with tour numbers, and staff called out names, so everything went smoothly. We received our tickets right after arriving, the transport was comfortable, and the whole tour was well arranged. We were back in Krakow around 12:30 PM. Overall, the price matched the service, and everything was handled professionally. Definitely recommend!

The Auschwitz-Birkenau tour with Headout was exceptional to say the least. The bus was perfectly on time and well organised in picking everyone up. The driver was lovely and conveyed instructions very clearly. Our tour guide Eva was wonderful, showing a deep respect for the cemetery that Auschwitz is and sharing detailed information in a way that imparted the same sense of reflection in all of us. Walking through the two camps, knowing that so many who walked in the same gates never walked out again, was a surreal and haunting experience that brought history to life in a sickening new way. It was an emotionally challenging visit but undoubtedly important and I'm so glad I did this tour with Headout.

I highly recommend taking a tour rather than going on your own. You'll skip the lines at the entrance, and the guide is essential for understanding the visit, especially at the second camp (the extermination camp), where there is no printed information. It was a moving and very interesting experience. Compared to other cultural tourist attractions, I think this is the most interesting one in Poland (!). However, we would have liked the guide to go a little slower because the information is VERY dense, and for the break to last longer than 10 minutes because we didn't have time to eat anything or even go to the bathroom. It wouldn't be a bad idea to give visitors a bottle of water, as the tour lasts 7 hours and it's a nice gesture.

Our visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau was a deeply moving and necessary experience. The organization through Headout was impeccable; the transportation arrived on time and the guide was extremely respectful and knowledgeable, explaining every historical detail with great sensitivity. Walking through the barracks and seeing the remains of the camps leaves you speechless, but it is essential to understanding history. I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking, especially in Birkenau. The logistics were flawless, allowing us to focus entirely on the importance of the site. A powerful experience that everyone should have at least once.

We had a truly meaningful and well-organized experience with this agency during our visit to Auschwitz. Everything was handled professionally, from transportation to timing and communication. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and informative, providing historical context in a clear and sensitive manner. This visit was emotionally powerful, and the agency ensured it was conducted with the seriousness and dignity such a place deserves. We highly appreciate the care and professionalism shown throughout the trip and would confidently recommend this agency to anyone seeking a well-organized and respectful Auschwitz tour.

I recently took a guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau and wanted to offer some constructive feedback about the experience. First of all, visiting such an important and deeply moving historical site is something I will always value. The significance of the place and the opportunity to reflect on the events that happened there are incredibly important. The guide was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing the history. However, the pace of the tour felt quite rushed. In many of the rooms and exhibits we had only just entered when the group was already being moved along, often because another tour group was waiting to come in behind us. This made it difficult to fully absorb the information and reflect on what we were seeing. Given the gravity of the site, having a little more time in each area would really help visitors appreciate the history and atmosphere. At times it felt as though we were moving from one space to the next without the opportunity to properly take things in. This meant that some of the experience felt a bit fragmented, and it was easy to feel like we had missed important details. Fortunately, I had visited previously and was able to share some of the context and information with my wife after we left, which helped fill in some of the gaps. However, for first-time visitors this could make the experience feel less complete than it should be. Overall, I still appreciate the effort that goes into organising tours at such a busy and significant site. My only suggestion would be to consider allowing slightly more time in key areas or spacing groups a little further apart so visitors have the chance to reflect and fully engage with the history. Thank you for preserving such an important place and continuing to educate visitors about its history

Pick-up, drop and entire trip was seamless. Very professional service - everything done on time. However, a few things could have been better: 1. There was a reason for me to book 7.30am pick-up. Just calling me previous day and suggesting me to change to 6am pick-up doesn't help 2. The tour could have better language ability - as I think lot of things were not completely understood

A very enjoyable experience! The guide (Filip) was very knowledgeable and there weren't too many of us in the group. The shuttle bus was on time and the tour wasn't too long but at the same time quite comprehensive. However, we would have liked to have spent a little more time in the museum to look at the different objects!

Very well organized, we let the organizers guide us completely. Very nice! Be sure to allow half a day to visit both sites between departure and arrival times at your accommodation. The schedules vary depending on what you choose, but everything was clearly indicated, so don't be surprised.
