A truly wonderful experience at Mont Saint-Michel! Everything was organized very smoothly and hassle-free with the tickets we bought here on HeadOut: we arrived at the Abbey at 10:40 a.m., and the free guided tour in Italian—included with the ticket—started at 10:45 a.m. The guide was excellent—very knowledgeable yet friendly and engaging. She told the Abbey’s story in an interesting and enjoyable way, making the visit even more special. I highly recommend this tour!

Having our tickets in advance allowed us to skip the line. Once we arrived at Mont Saint-Michel, after admiring its grandeur from the outside and the unique tidal phenomenon that makes it so special, it’s definitely worth visiting the interior of the abbey. We opted for the self-guided tour. From there, you can enjoy views of the sea, and at 1:50 p.m., we were able to witness the tide coming in, even though it was only a moderate high tide. It’s definitely worth it, and as has been the case on other occasions, buying tickets online in advance saves both time and money.

It was super convenient to book through this website—I basically used it in the evening to get tickets for the next day. I skipped the line, which seemed endless, thanks to the tickets I bought online. Kids under 18 get in free, and those under 25 get in free if they’re European citizens. The cathedral is truly spectacular, and watching the tide come in from up there is fantastic.

The Mont Saint Michel was amazing. What made it even beter, was that we had bought tickets online. We could skip the huge queue and just enjoy the abbey. Don't forget to also select the tablets when you're traveling with children. Ours loved to be able to see the ancient setups.
