The service itself met our expectations and we have managed to enter without any delay. Our experience would have been much better without the unpolite behavior of the museum staff and the way they asked to verify our online booking

Ticketing experience was difficult! The mobile app would only show one of two tickets when trying to go through turnstiles. Attendant had to let the second person through.

The audioguide was not updated with the new numbers of the statue. Sometimes it was difficult to find the statues the audio guide describes. The voice was a bit monotone as well. Maybe use 2-3 voices to keep the visitors'attention? The museum is amazing.

Fantastic experience using your easy tickets Skip the line, instant assistance with getting free audio device for the tour of the museum. Great and amazing photos from the fire north of Athens. Beautiful however eerie site to see from there, could only imagine what the Greeks that used this site and to see what we saw with the fire. Experience we will never forget. Opened in 2007, the Athens Acropolis Museum has one of the largest collections of fascinating Greek artifacts and sculptures that were housed in the Parthenon. The primary highlight is the cavernous excavation site below the museum. Believed to be an active neighborhood consisting of sea streets, houses, and shops from around 3000 BC to the 12th century A.D., the site is a highly unique exhibit.

There are four main galleries in the museum, and you have access to all of them! The Gallery of the Slopes of the Acropolis contains objects of everyday life used over the centuries. The Archaic Gallery houses some of the oldest findings dating back to the 7th century B.C. The Parthenon Gallery features a video presentation of the Parthenon and how it was designed and built. The final gallery contains a wide variety of fabulous artifacts including the coffered ceiling of the Propylaea and sculptures from the Temple of Athena Nike. You can also spot a range of amazing portraits depicting philosophers and historical figures. If you so choose, you can learn more about these wonderful artefacts and the museum with the help of an engaging audio guide.

The audio tour lasts for 2 hours.
Guests have to carry their personal headphones or earphones if they upgrade their ticket to include an audio tour.
It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
The museum will stay open until midnight on the full-moon day of August and on European Museum Day.
Please note that guests can enter the Acropolis Museum anytime within the operating hours with the Skip the line ticket but entry is timed for the skip the line ticket and audio tour.

Restrictions

Pets and large baggage are strictly not allowed inside the museum.
All packages and backpacks must be deposited in the cloakroom on the ground floor of the museum.

Accessibility

The tour is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven ground.
