The museum is impressive! It is a beautiful structure but they have put a lot of thought on how to present the ancient finds. There is a lot to see, and the placards were very helpful and educational. We learned a lot about the time period of the prices and the pieces themselves. This is a true gem, and my only regret is that I didn't book a tour with a guide. It is a nice retreat from the sun (if one is visiting in the heat) and the restaurant is great as well, with a fantastic view. Looking forward to returning

The museum is excellently designed, spacious and airy enabling the exhibits to be clearly viewed without being crowded out. Information about the exhibits and theough these, the building up of the history of Athens from prehistoric times through its blossoming in the 5th century BC and its later decline is extremely well done. The exhibits are beautifully displayed and any modern restoration clearly shown. Well worth the entrance fee.

We did a complete round trip hop on hop off(15 stops). About one hour. There was a stop very close to our hotel. On the second time around we planned our stops based on the time we had to sightsee. The drivers were all helpful. Our acropolis tour started before the HoHo started for the day. We enjoyed the Acropolis and the museum was very interesting. Glad we had purchased the tickets all in advance.

A must-see in Athens. A place steeped in ancient history. The giant columns of the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena, and the remaining ruins give the impression of stepping back in time. You can almost imagine Greek warriors... Just the realization that Socrates once strolled through these very streets is an amazing feeling. It is well worth seeing the history of the civilization that laid the foundations for everything we know.

Acropolis was excellent! Views up to and on top of were breathtaking plus all the ruins were open and easy to walk to without major fences or obstructions. Only downside was the ruins have construction on them but I guess it's necessary for maintenance.

For me, visiting the Acropolis couldn't have been better. I am very grateful to all the staff who assisted me so kindly. I have reduced mobility; a taxi took me right to where they sell the tickets, and since I had already bought them online, I went straight to the green gated entrance, where a very nice lady assisted me. I went in and waited for Sofía to take me in a buggy to the elevator. There was a very pleasant gentleman there as well, and the elevator played classical music. It has glass walls, so you can see all of Athens. On the way back, before going down, the staff in charge told me to wait sitting in the shade; they were wonderful. Afterwards, I went into the museum, where they lent me a wheelchair and didn't charge me for admission.

Theo was a very good guide, giving clear and interesting information of the history of the site. He was very thoughtful in making sure everyone was accounted for and also that he drew the group to one side when he needed to impart info, so that we were not impeding others. I have downgraded by one star as it was supposed to be a maximum of 10 people, but we were a group of 23. It would also have been useful to iconfirm in the e-mail confirmation the ticket type and to confirm exactly what was included.
