Information about the exhibits and theough these, the building up of the history of Athens from prehistoric times through its blossoming in the 5th century BC and its later decline is extremely well done. The exhibits are beautifully displayed and any modern restoration clearly shown. Well worth the entrance fee.LLaetitia G

I have reduced mobility; a taxi took me right to where they sell the tickets, and since I had already bought them online, I went straight to the green gated entrance, where a very nice lady assisted me. I went in and waited for Sofía to take me in a buggy to the elevator. There was a very pleasant gentleman there as well, and the elevator played classical music. It has glass walls, so you can see all of Athens. On the way back, before going down, the staff in charge told me to wait sitting in the shade; they were wonderful. Afterwards, I went into the museum, where they lent me a wheelchair and didn't charge me for admission.AAdeel S
