• On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve (24 and 31 Dec), the Museum is open from 9am to 3pm.

Reduced Easter Hours

• On Orthodox Good Friday, the Museum is open from 12pm to 6pm and on Orthodox Holy Saturday from 8am to 3pm.

Extended Opening Hours

• On the evenings of the August full moon and the European Night of Museums, the Museum is open until midnight.

• 6 March (Melina Mercouri Day), 25 March (National holiday), 18 May (International Day of Museums), and 28 Oct (National holiday).
