Great for the tickets But the audio guides were really poor. With incomprehensible diagrams, it was hard to tell where to start. Plus, the one for the Acropolis was in English, and I had chosen Italian.... Audio guides: a total letdown

The Acropolis Museum was a very good experience. It is a brand new facility and architectually interesting. The map available could be better as to directing visitors, but we made our way along and thoroughly enjoyed the displays and labeling. We were just there on Oct. 27th and the crowds were not overwhelming. Oct. 28 is a holiday in Greece and Monday, the 27th, was also a day off for some, but all was good. There is so much to take in that it would be so wonderful if one could do a floor at a time on different days. It was amazing to see the pediments, etc., from the Parthenon and also the Caryatids from the Erechtheon. There is a small cafe on the first floor near the bathrooms. Basically salads and lunch items are offered and are very good. Our tickets from headout were on my phone and we had no problem getting in. Thanks! We were at the museum for 4 hours or so, but we also had lunch. Worth the visit!

The audio guide wasn't working properly; it said it was in Spanish, but only the interface was in Spanish—the content was in English. We also couldn't play the English content properly. The museum itself wasn't what I expected; I found it boring.
