GroupVerified bookingJun 20265/5I took a lovely trip to Castel Gandolfo by train from Rome. The papal residence is situated in a very peaceful location, within walking distance of the train station in the village of Castel Gandolfo. The walk uphill is a form of meditation in itself, as you look out over the crater lake from ever-higher vantage points. Once at the top, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the volcanic lake from one of the terraces. There, you can also enjoy a refreshing drink or a good meal. The well-kept, simple garden of Castel Gandolfo creates a relaxing atmosphere. And a visit to the rooms in the residence brings you close to Pope Leo and his predecessors. The hectic life of a pope can find tranquility there, bringing them closer to God.MMarta K
FamilyVerified bookingLast week5/5My visit to the Vatican Museums was unforgettable. I was amazed by the incredible collection of art, history, and architecture. Walking through the galleries felt like travelling through centuries of culture and creativity. The highlights for me were the beautifully decorated rooms, the stunning sculptures, and, of course, the Sistine Chapel. Seeing Michelangelo’s masterpiece in person was truly breathtaking. Despite the large number of visitors, the atmosphere was inspiring and made the experience feel very special. I especially appreciated how much history and artistic achievement can be explored in one place. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to Rome.AAngela B
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago4/5Good morning, buying the ticket was very easy, and there were no problems when I entered either. The only issue was that I had to call to have the tickets sent to me by email; otherwise, I would have received them just by downloading the app. Thank youFFrancesco P
GroupVerified bookingJun 20265/5We’re a small group of four friends, and we decided to use the audio guide, which was easy to use and provided very clear explanations. Not to mention the gardens and the Resistance. An experience you absolutely must tryLLenuta C
