I visited in late August. Although there were occasional rain showers, the canyon itself was not muddy and was easy to walk through. Our guide was a young member of the Navajo Nation. Despite the limited time, he was very kind and helpful. He took photos for us and explained the history and culture of the Navajo people. There are some tricks to the camera settings needed to capture those iconic Antelope Canyon photos, so don’t hesitate to ask your guide for help. They will be happy to show you the right settings. The weather wasn’t ideal during our visit, but overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable tour.

We so enjoyed all of the tour. Our guide was completely wonderful and caring. She took amazing photos of us at very locations that we will enjoy for years to come. Our only suggestion-make it mandatory for inviduals with mobility issues to go back through the canyon to the vans. We had issues with the route up hill. We were offered the option to go back through the canyon and decided to try the regular path. Our guide had to come up the hill in the van to get us. Others had to wait. Learned a valuable lesson. Many thanks to Antelope Adventure for their kindness and expertise.

A well-organized tour lasting a total of 60–90 minutes. It begins with a 15-minute drive in a jeep that seats 10–15 people. Then the guide leads you into the canyon, providing brief explanations and helping you take the best photos. Note the time zone: it’s Arizona time, not Utah time. Only small clear bags are allowed; no backpacks or handbags. Our guide, Lydell, was thorough, helpful, and fun.

The tour we had was taken by RJ and he was really kind and thoural with information. We learned a lot of information and the lighting was perfect. RJ took a few photos for us and they turned out amazing. We've always wanted to do this tour and our next one will definitely be the lower canyon next time around. Thank you RJ for a wonderful experience!
    • Visit Upper Antelope Canyon to take in its dramatic light beams and stunning sandstone formations with guided insights into its natural and cultural history.

First of all this was a bucket list item and it did not disappoint. Our group age was 9 to 88. Our guide Adelbert was phenomenal, ahéhee'. It is a serene site and a priviledge to be able to visit the Navajo Nation and learn its history.

Upper Antelope Canyon is a marvel, but the cost of the tour is excessive. We paid a very high price just to spend 20 actual minutes inside the canyon, not counting the time spent on the off-road drive. Furthermore, due to the intense heat, we weren’t able to walk the trail outside the canyon, which further diminished the experience. The guide doesn’t really give a tour; he just accompanies you to take your photo, looking for the best light.

Our tour guide, Loretta, was lovely. We did the upper antelope tour and besides the natural wonder being absolutely breathtaking, Loretta made it extra special explaining each point along the way, all the best photos to take, and was kind enough to snap some photos of my mother and I. We would highly recommend.
