This was an amazing experience! Mike and his daughter Melanie were our guides. This was a unique and personalized tour, we learned so much and our guides were so engaging and informative. The small group setting was phenomenal and the views were 12/10!!

Honestly, I didn’t expect to be THIS blown away! We booked the night canyon tour last minute – me, my husband, and our teen daughter, all a bit tired from a looong drive. But the stars totally woke us up. Our guide, Ron, was super chill; he even helped set up my camera (I’m hopeless with night shots, lol). The walk down the metal stairs was a bit nerve-racking but safe. My kid counted 9 shooting stars. I think I might have teared up a little when everyone went quiet and we just listened to the wind echoing through the canyon. Bring an extra layer, it got cold quick! Def worth every penny.

We did the night tour as a couple and it was super romantic! The sky looked like a blanket of diamonds, straight up magical. Only bummer was that some folks kept flashing their phones, which kinda killed the vibe in moments. But our guide (sorry forgot the name, maybe Lisa?) shared stories that gave me goosebumps. The van ride in is a little bumpy (hold onto your hats), but honestly you forget about it once you’re in the canyon. Bring a flashlight, but the guide will ask you to turn it off at some parts. It’s wild to see just how dark it can get out there.

If you’re even THINKING about doing this tour, just do it. My partner and I lucked out and got a super small group (4 ppl total) and honestly felt like we had the canyon to ourselves. Our guide, Lena, was sooooo into the geology stuff—she literally pulled out a little rock hammer and showed us layers on the canyon wall. I def took too many pics but…worth it? Yes. Pro tip: bring water, it gets DRY down there. Little sad you can’t bring snacks in but eh, small price for such an EPIC morning.
