Everything was fine on the boat. In Amsterdam, however, I didn't like the fact that the cyclists all seemed to ride quite recklessly through the crowds. You always have to expect to be knocked down everywhere except on the water. It's really stressful, especially with children. Once in Amsterdam is enough!

The advantage went straight to the people sitting by the windows .people who were aisle sitter like me were not able to see most of the buildings and bridges announced by the boat broadcast or by the Captain. Next time I will book an open boat canal tour. Really very disappointing experience.
