A visit to the Great Mosque of Cordoba is a unique experience artistically and spiritually: the grandeur of the structure, the arches that create a forest effect, a sense of infinite and harmonious space. One of the characteristic elements is the niche indicating the direction of Mecca, richly decorated with golden mosaics and Arabic inscriptions. Christian architecture within an Islamic building makes the complex unique in the world, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, representing the coexistence of different cultures, a symbol of Andalusia's complex history and one of the greatest masterpieces of Hispanic-Muslim art. Our family was captivated by the uniqueness of this building and we highly recommend this authentic Andalusian experience.

Mosque-Cathedral was stunning! Easily spent 2 hours there and still didn't see it all. The audio guide we purchased via the Headout app was convenient but not good. The directions were confusing and it missed so many elements of the location. Buy the tickets without that.

I think inside this is the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen. Partly due to the many Moorish aspects, such as the beautiful pillars and arches. There were beautiful gold objects on display with many very small details. Really highly recommended.

We were impressed by the variety of architectural and religious-cultural elements in this huge mosque/house of worship. I am also impressed by the many aesthetic designs (e.g. a mosaic altar, the wooden windows that shimmer pink depending on the light - nobody would mistake that for wood!) and the magnificent archways and ceilings!
