Interesting but frenetically busy place. Fascinating architecture and surreal seeing a cathedral amongst the mosque arches. The instructions on the ticket say silence (certainly no one adhered to that and many guides were shouting to their groups), take passports (no one looked at them), wear respectable clothing (no one seemed perturbed by what anyone was wearing). Good to see the cathedral/mosques but not the highlight of our trip.

The Mosque-Cathedral is very impressive. I found it more impressive than the Alhambra in Granada. With the audio guide we booked, it wasn't always easy to identify the individual objects.
