Galeão International Airport: Plaza Premium Lounge at Arrivals Terminal 2

Touch down at Rio de Janeiro-Galeão International Airport and head straight to the Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge for a comfortable post-flight reset. Located conveniently in the public area of Terminal 2, this lounge provides an ideal space for arriving passengers or those waiting for a connecting flight. Whether you want to take a hot shower, grab a bite to eat, or rest in a private suite, this facility offers all the amenities you’ll need to transition smoothly into the city.

Getting settled

To reach the lounge as an arriving passenger, exit immigration and customs and head to Level 1 of the Arrivals hall. Follow the signs for "Salas VIP" through the underground walkway to the Terminal 2 Car Park building. The lounge is located on Level 2 of the parking garage, in the non-restricted (landside) area. Alternatively, from the Departures level, simply cross the airport access road and enter the parking garage. Present your valid ID, booking, and boarding pass at the reception desk to enter.

Lounge timings

• The Plaza Premium Lounge is open for 24 hours every day.

Documents required

• Bring a valid photo ID that matches the name on your booking. Display at the entrance if requested.

• Also carry a same-day boarding pass with you.

Rules & restrictions

• The lounge is located landside (outside security) in the parking garage. You don’t need to finish security formalities to access it. However, please ensure that you vacate the lounge with plenty of time to pass security checks and make your way to your respective gate.

• Shower facilities are subject to availability and must be reserved with the staff upon arrival.
